Facility Janitor

Facility Cleaner
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15AM-4:30PM starting now until September 5th

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff. Your role is essential in upholding hygiene standards and supporting the overall functionality of our facility.

Key Responsibilities

General Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting throughout the facility.
Sanitization: Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as desks, tables, counters, and windows to maintain hygiene.
Restroom Maintenance: Regularly clean and sanitize restrooms; ensure supplies are replenished.
Trash & Recycling: Collect and properly dispose of waste and recyclables in designated containers.
Floor Care: Maintain floor cleanliness, including washing, stripping, waxing, and polishing as needed.
Inventory Monitoring: Track and report cleaning supply levels; request restocks when necessary.
Emergency Response: Address urgent cleaning needs promptly, such as spills or leaks.
Collaboration: Work with other staff members on larger cleaning projects or special tasks.
Reporting: Document daily tasks and report maintenance or safety issues to management.
Requirements

Prior experience in a janitorial or facility cleaning role preferred
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safe usage practices
Ability to operate cleaning tools and machinery
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Physical ability to lift, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods
Dependable, with good communication and a positive attitude
Working Conditions:

This position requires working indoors in various environments such as offices, corridors, restrooms, and common areas.
Shift work and weekend availability may be required depending on the facility's operational needs.
Adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be necessary.
