Maintenance Mechanic 1st Shift

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 1st Shift to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent mechanical abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic 1st Shift

Location: Archdale, NC

Pay Range: $26/hr

What's the Job?

• Oversee all maintenance items and ensure equipment is running smoothly.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours.
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including inspecting drives, motors, and belts, and checking fluid levels.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test and make adjustments as necessary.

What's Needed?

• A minimum of 5 years of manufacturing and facility maintenance experience.
• High level of troubleshooting skills and knowledge of industrial electric up to 600 volts.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and knowledge of DC and AC Drives.
• Experience with automation and PLC systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
