Maintenance Mechanic

Hiring for leading producer in the milling industry, committed to operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. We're looking for a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team and support the reliability and efficiency of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance across plant systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components

• Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, and work orders to diagnose and repair machinery

• Operate and maintain a variety of tools and production equipment

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to packaging systems, compressors, pumps, batching computers, and PLCs

• Maintain high-quality control standards and document all work performed

• Support general building repairs and maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a feed mill, industrial, or production setting

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Proven ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams

• Comfortable working in a flexible schedule including overtime and weekends

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick)

• Familiarity with robotics and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics

• Knowledge of inventory and maintenance systems is a plus

• Basic computer skills including spreadsheets

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work in hot/cold conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks
