In this Role:

  • Greet all spa guests warmly and courteously upon arrival.
  • Provide information about spa services, promotions, and facilities.
  • Ensure a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
  • Manage spa bookings and appointments using the spa management system.
  • Confirm appointments with guests and notify them of any changes.
  • Coordinate with spa technicians to ensure smooth scheduling of services.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Process payments for services and retail products.
  • Maintain accurate records of appointments and transactions.
  • Address guest opportunities with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Provide detailed information on spa services, pricing, and packages.
  • Assist guests in selecting services that best meet their needs.
  • Promote and sell spa retail products to guests.
  • Keep updated on the latest products and promotions.
  • Assist in inventory management and restocking of retail shelves.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Monitor the waiting area to ensure guests are comfortable.
  • Assist with spa tours and introduction of facilities to new guests.
  • Collaborate with spa staff to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Communicate guest feedback and preferences to the spa manager and technicians.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be 18+ years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, preferably in a spa or hospitality setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in using scheduling and point-of-sale software.
  • Strong dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Polished and professional appearance and demeanor.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Ability to read, write, and input data into the computer.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
  • Must have the ability to access all properties and areas.
  • Ability to sit or stand with a computer for a long period of time.

Work Conditions:

Work is typically in a reception desk area of the spa. Work areas may be warm, cold, noisy, or bright and may contain second-hand smoke. Tasks may be required to be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position in a confined area. Team Members may be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp.
