SUMMARY

Thisis an entry level position assisting in daily Front of House operations todeliver a 5-Star, 5-Diamond, 3-Michelin Star experience to all guests. Maintainall aspects of the service areas. Serve as a support to the Dining Room team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Demonstrates knowledge of basic dining room/phonestandards and etiquette
• Expediently and withgreat skill performs polishing/sorting/distributing all types of glasses andsilverware/Ability to identify various types of glassware and silverware
• Recognizes alllinens and folds for all shifts. Strip linens daily for service
• Demonstrates knowledge of table numbers
• Able to clear/set/reset a table(Breakfast/Tea/Dinner)
• Knowledge of garden setup/breakdown (includingfire-pit seasonally)
• Storage of flowers and setup/breakdown
• Location and retrieval ofIce/ will routinely refill ice
• Can properly break downdishes in wait station #4
• Able to reset tables to pristinecondition
• Maintains organization in WS4
• Has understanding of property layoutand where all the rooms are located
• Demonstrates understanding of TheForbes Travel Guides standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Excellentcommunication skills
• Mustbe at least 16 years of age
• Mustbe well-groomed and well-presented with no visible tattoos
• Musthave reliable transportation

Desirable

• Familiarity withForbes Standards
• Ability tocommunicate in a language other than English, preferably Spanish or French
• Certification inalcohol awareness program
• Certification inCPR
• Prior experiencewith Resortsuite and Tock

SKILLS

• Ability tocommunicate in English both orally and in writing
• Stronginterpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
• Must always beorganized and maintain cleanliness of workstation
• Ability to speakusing clear and professional language
• Ability tomulti-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability tocross-train across multiple departments and assist when needed
• Ability to assistguests with questions about the property, its history, and surrounding areas

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able tolift 30+ lbs.
• Able to stand, bendand walk for long periods of time
