Job Description
The Monterey Peninsula Inn in Pacific Grove is has an opening for a full time and part time housekeeper. The day-to-day duties will include the cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and completing required laundry services. This position works with various cleaning materials/products and will be required to have attention to detail in ensuring the guest areas are clean and presentable in a timely manner.
Job Duties/Expectations Include (but not limited to):
Professional demeanor, ethical behavior and excellent interpersonal skills; handle guests requests/complaints courteously
Flexibility in work schedule to include weekends, holidays and overtime, as necessary.
Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following all work procedures and health/safety procedures. Physical demands include lifting/carrying items up and down stairs, reaching, bending, stooping, extending arms over head
Ability to follow through on assigned tasks and demonstrate initiative and attention to detail, reporting maintenance issues.
