O'Lydia's is looking for a bartender

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. We are specifically looking for shifts to be filled Saturdays, Sundays and some weeknights depending on events. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Duties
-Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
-Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
-Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
-Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist with restocking as needed.
-Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for processing transactions.
-Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.

Qualifications
-Previous bartending experience is mandatory.
-Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
-Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations.
-Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
-Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
-Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
