Dayshift/Head Custodian

Employment Terms:**

- This is a full-time, 12-month position

- Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 5:45 am until 1:45 pm

- Hourly rate: $16.34 + $3500 annual stipend for the head custodian role

- Benefits eligible on the first of the month following month of hire

- Full-time, 12-month staff are awarded 14 PTO days & 10 vacation days and receive 11 paid holidays annually

- This position is governed by the Hamburg Area Support Professionals Agreement and requires a probation period of 90 workdays.

**Position Summary**

Under general supervision, functions as a team leader at the building level for custodial staff. Performs leadership responsibilities and participates in the work performed by the custodial staff. Reports to the Director of Facilities.

**Minimum Qualifications**

1. High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., General Educational Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.).

2. Two years' experience as a custodian, preferably within an education entity.
