Job Summary: FC Net and Grill Restaurant is looking for a skilled, dependable, and team-oriented Cook to join our kitchen staff. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals that meet our high standards for taste, presentation, and quality. You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, cleanliness, and teamwork are essential. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards
Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies and ingredients
Ensure food is cooked to the proper temperature and presentation guidelines
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines (including proper food storage)
Assist with daily prep tasks and special event orders
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely food service
Monitor food stock and communicate shortages or spoilage
Participate in opening and closing duties as required
Help train new kitchen staff as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant setting preferred
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices
Ability to follow recipes and multi-task under pressure
Strong attention to detail and consistency in food preparation
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Culinary school or food handler certification is a plus
Work Schedule:
Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Shifts may vary depending on restaurant hours and business demand
