JOB DESCRIPTION
Cook - Monroe - Full-time - $22.50 hourly rate - The areas highest quality nursing care residence providing a warm andpassionate homelikemunity - 5:30am-1:30pm or 6:00am-2:00pm including every other weekend - The Cook will support the Lead Cook in daily cooking operations. The Cook is responsible to ensure the highest quality and standards of meals are professionally prepared plus presented with excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:
Culinary degree or related experience;
Experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook or Saute Cook;
Skill and experience with Hotel, Country Club and/or Restaurant menus
Ala Carte Dining Experience preferred
ServSafe certified, able to obtain certification within 6 months of employment
Flu vaccine required during flu season

As a pioneer in the field of aging service, our Monroe Township residence is the result of decades of research and over a century of experience. Parker at Monroe provides nursing and memory care services to individuals with all stages of dementias, who may also haveplex physical needs. The campus consists of six small homes; sixteen elders with similar needs reside in each small home. The homes and programs are designed to promote independence, dignity, and a sense ofmunity among our elders and their care partners. As an Eden Alternative registered home, Parker transforms long-term care environments into person-centeredmunities that offer varied and meaningful activities.
