Job Summary:

Bernard Care Center is seeking a dependable andwelcoming Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact forresidents, families, and visitors, you will play a critical role in creating afriendly and professional environment while supporting the daily operations ofour facility. This position requires the ability to work 12-hour shifts,including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assistresidents, families, and visitors in a warm, professional manner.

- Answer and direct incomingphone calls to the appropriate departments or staff.

- Manage the front desk andreception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and inviting.

- Provide information to visitorsand callers regarding the facility, policies, and services offered.

- Maintain visitor logs andensure compliance with security and safety protocols.

- Schedule and coordinateappointments for residents, staff, and visitors as needed.

- Assist with administrativetasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.

- Sort and distribute incomingmail, packages, and other deliveries.

- Monitor and maintain suppliesfor the reception area.

- Collaborate with otherdepartments to ensure seamless communication and support.

- Handle emergency situationspromptly by contacting the appropriate personnel or emergency services.

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent required;additional education or training in office administration is a plus.

- Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role,preferably in a health care setting.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity withoffice equipment (e.g., printers, copiers).

- Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritizein a fast-paced environment.

- Professional appearance and demeanor.

- Compassionate and customer-service-oriented approach, withsensitivity to the needs of residents and families.

- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends andholidays.
