Bartender/Cook/Unarmed Security Guard

The Sanctuary Bar and Finger Bullet is looking for fun, energetic and trustworthy Bartenders, Cooks and Security Guards as we jump start our summer season. Plan to open to upstairs/outdoor bar at the Sanctuary bar as well as reopening our sister bar, The Finger Bullet.

Requirements: Bartender

Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a fast-paced bar setting
Must have valid work authorization and a strong knowledge of beer, spirits, and classic cocktails
Great attitude, strong work ethic, and team-player mentality
excellent communication and customer service skills
must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays
Respectful, responsible, and punctual candidates only

Requirements: Cooks

Must have a positive and professional approach with owner and co-workers, speak and
understand English,
Have proven cooking experience and understanding of methods and procedures.
Must be reliable, dependable, punctual and able to work weekends and some holidays.
Proven cooking experience at casual establishments
Responsibilities include: set up and stocking stations, prepping for service, cooking menu items
in cooperation with all staff, ensuring food comes out in a timely manner while complying with
all Health Department rules, closing and cleaning the kitchen and stations, properly storing
foods and stocking as needed.
You must have a valid food handlers certificate

Requirements: Security

LICENSED security needed. This is a Friday and Saturday night position, with occasional other
days.
MUST have valid NYS security guard license with ID #.
Experience is necessary.
Duties will be checking IDs at door, diffusing any situations, refusing admittance to anyone that
is underage, intoxicated or otherwise shouldn't be in the bar. You will also keep watch of inside
of bar.
