Host / Doorman - East Hampton Restaurant

Saturdays 7pm-1am

We are seeking a polished and professional Host/Doorman to be the first point of contact for our guests. Dressed in a chic, tailored suit, this role is key to creating an inviting yet exclusive entrance experience. The ideal candidate is charismatic, discreet, and experienced in high-volume, upscale environments. Youll manage the door flow, check IDs, assist the host team with line control, and ensure our standards of service and safety are upheld at all times.

Greet all guests with professionalism, confidence, and a warm demeanor
Check IDs and enforce age restrictions with discretion and accuracy
Manage guest flow and coordinate with hosts for smooth seating and waitlist management
Maintain a sense of exclusivity while delivering a welcoming experience
Monitor capacity and guest behavior at the entrance to ensure a safe, enjoyable atmosphere
Support the security and front-of-house teams in managing crowds and VIP arrivals
Be a brand ambassadorprofessional, stylish, and in control

Qualifications:
Prior experience in hospitality, nightlife, or luxury retail strongly preferred
Must be 21+ and legally permitted to check identification in New York State
Excellent communication and people skills
Impeccable grooming and presentation; must feel comfortable in formal attire
Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Weekend and late-night availability required
