Janitor

Our client, a dedicated facility management provider, is seeking a Janitor to join their team. As a Janitor, you will be part of the operations team supporting a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Janitor

Location: Mount Vernon, IL

Pay Range: $16.50 per hour

What's the Job?

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and office spaces on a daily basis.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain all flooring in designated areas.
• Restock restroom supplies including hand soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of shared workspaces and common areas.
• Proactively manage general cleaning needs and restocking duties.

What's Needed?

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
