In this fast paced, high energy environment where accuracy and great guest service are essential, how do we keep track of our many hotel transactions while ensuring guest satisfaction? As a Night Auditor you will be responsible for revenue and audit reporting, guest records, maintaining related files and systems, and providing guest service. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

  1. *Audit and run hotel revenue reports and guest records; prepare system for the following day’s operations; post and balance charges, taxes, and settlements for the hotel. Maintain related files, records, and systems.
  2. *Prepare and distribute revenue and audit reports to management and accounting department.
  3. *Acknowledge and greet guests with a smile to establish rapport and increase guest confidence and satisfaction.
  4. * Register and make room assignments for hotel guests; check guests in and out; and issue room keys.
  5. * Enter reservations, changes, and cancelations using computer system.
  6. *Process guest payments and prepare and present statements to guests. Resolve and correct billing issues and post charges to accounts with necessary adjustments.
  7. *Manage guest inquiries, special requests, concerns, and issues in a timely manner that reaches a positive and satisfactory resolution for the guest.
  8. *Escalate difficult customer relations situations to the supervisor or manager as needed.
  9. Monitor room availability and coordinate with the Call Center and Player Development to maximize hotel occupancy.
  10. Act as a resource to guests and team members by maintaining thorough knowledge of the facility, special events, promotions, and other amenities.
  11. Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of related experience are preferred. An Associate’s degree in Hospitality, Accounting, Business, or related field is preferred.
  2. Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and general knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience using customer service and reservation software preferred.
  3. The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  4. The ability to interact with customers and team members professionally.
  5. The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  6. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, sit, and move freely throughout the office and property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member may be required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 40 pounds occasionally, with assistance. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

The noise level is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free. The Hotel is smoke free.
