POSITION SUMMARY

The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Brew Brothers Bartender is also responsible for delivering excellent customer service to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience. To ensure the excellent serving of patrons in a timely manner and to assure quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience while controlling levels of intoxication.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for beverage orders from guests and servers, preparation of drinks correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to control guest intoxication limitations, with complete understanding of company policy and procedure regarding limitations
  • Responsible for bar inventory and beverage cost control in line with budget.
  • Responsible for, but not limited to, the following: stock bar items, fill ice bins, replenish juice used at bars, empty garbage, mop floors, keep all areas including bar mats and coolers, clean and orderly.
  • Responsible for creation of drink specials as well as staying up to date on beverage trends.
  • Adhere to department service standards of being accommodating, accurate, and attentive.
  • Interact effectively and courteously with all guests and employees and demonstrate resiliency to deal with difficult situations in all types of business conditions.
  • Ability to take food orders from guests and deliver these orders to the guest when applicable.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining positive guest relations, including but not limited to, resolving minor guest disputes and ensuring the safety and security of all guests and employees.
  • Comply with our drug & alcohol-free workplace. Subject to post offer, for cause and post-accident drug tests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ability to communicate effectively with our patrons and fellow employees and understand simple instructions.
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks in a restaurant environment, exposed to smoke, under frequent time pressures.
  • Walking / Standing - 100%, Bending / Lifting - 10% (up to 50lbs in a safe manner), Pushing / Pulling 5%
  • Ability to climb stepladder and retrieve boxes overhead up to 30lbs in a safe manner.
  • Ability to be at work on time as scheduled on a regular basis which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Report to work in a neat and clean uniform, with slip resistant shoes. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
  • Travel into market areas to research new trends and best practices.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent, with one year experience as a bartender or bar back preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
