We are relaunching our Midtown cocktail bar concept and hope to add a few people to our team as Spirit Ambassadors. This is a unique position as it will incorporate elements of drink making, customer service, and retail sales. Whether you are assisting guests on the sales floor or mixing up cocktails behind the bar, you will be playing an integral role in shaping guest experiences.

This 36 seat cocktail bar sports a bottle shop and features spirits that you wont find anywhere in PA, providing a truly unique spirit and cocktail program in Philadelphia. We carry over 80 spirits from around the country and the world with an always expanding portfolio. Our new teammates would join us in enthusiastically providing exceptional hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a working knowledge of the spirits we carry
• Greet and assist guests with product inquiries and purchases
• Maintain clean, organized and stocked product display areas
• Handle payment transactions accurately
• Maintain a working knowledge of the cocktails on the menu as well as classics
• Prepare and serve drinks efficiently at the bar and tables
• Maintain a clean, organized and stocked bar
• Adhere to PA state laws regarding alcohol service
• Maintain a working knowledge of the food menu and allergens
• Provide impeccable customer service, creating a warm, friendly environment

Requirements:

• Previous bartending experience required; retail and hosting experience not required but helpful
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work cleanly and in an organized fashion
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to carry up to 40 lbs
• Prefer candidates who can work both day and evening shifts (no late nights!!)
