Los Pinos Bakery is a production line located in the Houston area providing bakery items, frozen and baked, to our multiple clients. We are hiring employees who are responsible for the preparation of artisan Mexican bread.
Essential functions:
- Knead, roll, cut, or shape dough to form different Mexican breads
- Put dough shaped into pans or sheets that you will stick into the oven for baking or into the cooler for freezing
- Maintain sanitary and organized production area, to comply with all necessary procedures of sanitation and food handling
- Other tasks to be assigned in order to maintain a smooth pace on production
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Must be 18 or older
- Good organization and time management skills
- Basic Math Skills
Physical and Other Requirements:
- Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced production line
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be capable of standing, walking, and squatting for extended periods of time
- Must be detail and result oriented, committed to product quality without jeopardizing safety
- Exposure to extreme cold (coolers and freezers) and heat (cooking equipment) for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work on weekends, holidays and overtime on a regular basis
