The Bartender provides alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to residents & their guests in a pleasant, appealing and timely manner. They may be asked to wait tables and fulfill additional tasks.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Make mixed beverages upon request to meet resident requests and desires in a timely manner
- Stock items needed to make beverages, juices, soda, liquor, fruit and condiments
- Complete weekly overall inventory of above items to facilitate order
- Transport alcohol beverages from ABC Packaging to WCR to replenish stock
- Complete daily cleaning of Canterbury Lounge area
- Provide customer service in an uplifting and friendly manner exhibiting strong listening skills
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customer
- Additional duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to stand up to six hours at a time
- Able to lift 25 lbs. without assistance, 26+ with manual or mechanical assistance
- Frequent bending, stooping and reaching
- Occasional use of ladder
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Knowledge of mixed alcohol drinks
- General knowledge of other alcoholic beverages
- Ability to recognize intoxicated person
- Must be 21 years of age with no previous felony conviction
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Previous work experience with older adults
- Previous experience in a customer service field
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- One year bartending experience
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Mixologist
- Three to five years bartending experience
