Apartment Management Professionals, LLC (AMP Residential) is seeking to hire a Concierge to join our team at one of our luxury communities, Riverfront Towers! This apartment community has 549 units and is located in downtown Detroit, MI.

A Concierge will value all residents and guests, and be committed to providing residents and guests with information and resources to have a meaningful visit.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and emails
  • Help direct walk-in traffic
  • Help direct vendors, contractors, delivery personnel, etc. to the correct location or put them in contact with the proper employee
  • Ensure residents and guest needs are met: provide directions, suggestions for restaurants in the area, etc.
  • Greet residents and guests in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Coordinate special events or special projects as assigned
  • Assist residents and guests with any issues or concerns
  • Provide information on the geographical area. Suggest site-seeing locations.
  • Accept packages being delivered for residents and contact residents to make them aware of the delivery
  • Assists in delivering notices, newsletters and flyers to apartments throughout the community
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Provide community and apartment information to prospective residents via phone, email, and in person during visits
  • All other duties as assigned

Work Environment:

This job operates in a high-rise building and office setting. This position will occasionally be assisting guests in outside weather conditions throughout the day.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to:

  • Stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds and must occasionally lift or move items over 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year in customer service and administrative work required
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must possess strong conflict resolution skills
  • Valid Driver's License with valid auto insurance
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Entrata experience is preferred but will train
  • Successfully pass drug screening
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with residents and customers in a professional manner
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, as well as best practices for businesses.
  • Saturdays are required, this would be a schedule adjustment during the week
