JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities Cleans and sanitizes all kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, salamanders, stove tops, smokers, hot boxes, hot wells, pizza ovens, steamers, deep fryers, and other heavy equipment Cleans and sanitizes all tiled kitchen floors and drains in all food and beverage service areas Cleans and sanitizes kitchen walls, hood vents, coolers and freezers (both walk-in and reach-in), and ceilings (including air vents and light fixtures) Cleans and sanitizes storage shelves and prep table surfaces (including the legs and casters) Removes, cleans, and sanitizes kitchen floor mats and ensures proper placement Cleans and scrubs the dock and trash areas Operates industrial cleaning equipment and uses industrial strength cleaning chemicals Ensures safe and proper use of chemicals and wears appropriate protection Disposes of all Kitchen waste Must be able to lift up to 100lbs Qualifications High school diploma or GED, or equivalent is preferred Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals is preferred Must possess outstanding guest service skills Must be detail oriented Must have high standards of cleanliness Must conduct yourself in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida and departmental policies and procedures Work Environment: Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Casino Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. Required to push cleaning cart and operate vacuums.
