Job Description Join our professional team as a Supervisor/Assistant Housekeeper to maintain exceptional standards in guest accommodations and facilities. Support department managers in overseeing daily housekeeping operations Assume management responsibilities in the absence of the department manager Implement and maintain housekeeping best practices and standard operating procedures Coordinate daily room assignments and staff scheduling Provide guidance and support to housekeeping personnel Perform thorough room inspections to ensure quality standards Ensure guest rooms meet established cleanliness and presentation standards Provide operational support to team members as needed Enforce safety protocols and cleanliness standards Maintain quality control measures while meeting operational objectives Manage administrative responsibilities including inventory control and reporting Develop team effectiveness through training and professional development Qualifications Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of supervisory or training experience in hospitality or related field Demonstrated expertise in housekeeping operations, cleaning protocols, and chemical safety procedures Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels Proficiency in performing all guest room maintenance duties and housekeeping operations High school diploma or equivalent required Demonstrated computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software applications Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in luxury or upscale hospitality environments Demonstrated track record of maintaining high cleanliness standards Experience in staff training and development Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Additional Information Boyd Gaming is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
