Basic Function: As a Maintenance Worker II, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our facilities and ensuring a safe, clean environment for our residents and staff. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll perform a variety of maintenance functions, from floor care to minor repairs, with skill and efficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reliable Attendance: Demonstrate punctuality and reliability in attendance. Cleaning: Perform cleaning duties including floor care, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing assigned areas. Maintenance Tasks: Replace light bulbs, clean vents, fill towel and tissue dispensers, and perform other tasks as assigned. Safety: Keep facility walkways safe by plowing, shoveling, and applying de-icers as needed. Assistance: Assist with loading/unloading furniture, supplies, and equipment, and participate in special maintenance projects. Organization: Organize and utilize cleaning and maintenance supplies efficiently. Inventory Management: Monitor product and equipment use, report inventory changes to supervisor. Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments in a cooperative and courteous manner. Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to varying assignments, including weekend/after-hours coverage as needed. Compliance: Intervene immediately on behalf of individuals served in compliance with Milestone, Inc.'s philosophy and policies regarding Human Rights. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Perform additional duties as assigned or directed. Handle seasonal grounds care and maintenance needs, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and watering if required. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum age of 18 years old. Minimum of six months housekeeping/light maintenance experience. Valid driver's license and good driving record when specified. No weight restrictions. Why Join Us?
