Job Summary: Job Title: Industrial Facilities Cleaner Urgently Hiring
Pay: $18/hour
Hours: M-F 6 AM - 2:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for a dedicated Industrial Facilities Cleaner to ensure cleanliness and safety in our manufacturing environment, performing both light and heavy janitorial duties. This role also involves conducting regular facility audits, identifying hazards, and assisting with operational tasks as needed, while supporting the pellet mill and packaging operators when required.
Maintain Cleanliness of Manufacturing Facilities 50%
Performs both light and heavy janitorial duties in a manufacturing environment
Additional duties as required
Facility Audits and Improvement Planning/Back up 50%
Accountable for assessing facility conditions at regular intervals and reporting hazards identified, along with repair needs and other opportunities for facility improvements to the Plant Manager
Fill in as back up for designated pellet mill operator and/or packaging operator when needed
Assist with PM duties as needed
Perform other duties as required
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
High School diploma or GED required
One to two years production line experience in an industrial setting highly preferred
Will need to possess good eye, hand and foot coordination
Will need to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi-task
Will need to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day
Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Requires the ability to do simple math calculations
