Job Duties:
Consistently presents positive and friendly first and last impression for all guests
Appropriately and professionally answer phones & take messages at the host stand
Greeting and strategically seats guests all the while managing guest flow
Assisting with coat check
Working with management on smooth guest service
Assisting management and staff with private party set-up and ease of service
Demonstrates proficiency in open and closing duties
Promotes the importance of teamwork and maintaining an efficient work situation
Able to answer questions about ingredients and allergies, preparation, description of menu items
Respect for fellow employees and guests
Follow health and safety procedures laid out by management, city, state and federal requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Excellent communication skills- verbally interacts with management, team members and guests
Must be able to answer the telephone in a pleasant manner and respond to the guest reservation
Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday All Day
Must maintain tact and remain cool under pressure
Previous Host experience is required
Computer knowledge is helpful
