OVERVIEW:

The Manager directs and contributes to the operational activities of the restaurant. The manager is responsible for the oversight and coordination of planning, organization, training and leading initiatives aimed at achieving established objectives in sales, cost management, employee retention, guest experience, food quality, and adherence to cleanliness and sanitation standards.

  • Ensure that all guests receive welcome, professional gracious service at all times
  • Execute all job responsibilities with efficiency, respect, professionalism, teamwork, comprehensive knowledge, patience, keen awareness, compassion, and courtesy
  • Possess a thorough understanding of all programs, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training protocols
  • Propose constructive solutions to issues and contribute actively to the decision-making processes
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations that are cohesive with the restaurants philosophy, culture and standards of excellence.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Direct and manage guest service operations.
  • Spearhead and promote restaurant programs aimed at delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Maintain and ensure the highest standards of hospitality are consistently delivered.
  • Execute store opening and closing procedures as scheduled.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on ensuring team members are equipped with necessary knowledge and tools to be successful in their assigned roles.
  • Prepare and conduct daily pre-shift meetings and develop effective floor plans.
  • Coach and develop team members on all aspects of hospitality and service.
  • Cultivate an environment that produces successful employee retention
  • Absorb hourly role when needed to benefit guest experience and success of entire team
  • Conduct facility inspections and report maintenance requirements to the appropriate personnel.
  • Contribute and participate in Weekly Manager Meeting.

These job functions include but are not limited to the following duties, additional duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry required.
  • Must have a working knowledge of restaurant management and operations.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • A genuine interest in creating exceptional guest experiences through hospitality.
  • Solutions-oriented approach with the ability to support restaurant goals and objectives,
  • Prior experience with restaurant management software systems (i.e. Toast, Resy, Hotschedules, R365) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and the drive to cultivate a hospitality-focused service culture.
  • Ability to maintain a standing position for a minimum of eight hours per day.
  • Ability to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must possess the stamina to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($60,000.00 - $70,000.00)
