Seekinga creative and skilled Food and Beverage leader that embodies gracious living toestablish Lodge Kohler as the place to be every day including Packer Gamedays.Individuals in this role must bring a fun, innovative, and creative skillset toeffectively lead a growing and evolving team.

Responsiblefor managing all food and beverage operations for Lodge Kohler to ensure areasrated by AAA maintain Four Diamond service quality and standards. This includesthe Taverne in the Sky restaurant, Leaps & Bounds cafe, In Room Diningserved by the restaurant, and in-house private events.

Responsiblefor meeting projected targets for sales, profits and expenses while achievingexcellent levels of customer satisfaction and associate engagement. Primaryresponsibilities: P&L responsibility, Service Standards, Inventory, Wine,Spirits, Cost Control Practices.

SPECIFICRESPONSIBILITIES

Business Management - Responsible for the profitability ofthe establishment

  • Establishcost controls and maintain and monitor sales and costs on all levels.
  • Responsiblefor inventory control of all perishable and non-perishable goods.
  • Supervisethe quality control of standardizing all food and beverage service.
  • Ensureareas are profitable according to plan, and that quality service is provided.
  • Ensurefinancial control policies and standards are maintained through thepoint-of-sale and inventory systems.
  • Workdirectly with the Executive Chef, General Manager, third-party consultants, aswell as Director of Food and Beverage to formulate ideas, concepts, cost, andmarketing of all menus.
  • Ideate,develop, and implement financial, capital, and manpower plans with departmentmanagers.
  • Maintaincomplete knowledge and strictly abide by government liquor regulations toprotect the integrity of the reputation of Lodge Kohler and the KohlerHospitality brand.
  • Developand maintain labor standards to balance quality, pace of service, and optimizeprofitability.

Guest Satisfaction Responsible for creating a graciousdining experience four all guests who enter the property

  • Workwith GM, Directors, and consultants to educate, refine, and deliverbest-in-class hospitality. Continuously elevating and evolving steps of serviceto impress all guests.
  • Obtainand utilize guest feedback in designing action plans to improve service.
  • Monitorand handle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Workwith the Directors and consultants on major events and ensure profitable goalsare met for these events.
  • Marketand advertise to develop and maintain the image of the establishment withdepartment managers.
  • Ideate,develop, and implement better standards to deliver best-in-class guestexperiences

Associate Engagement - Responsible for gracious supervisionof all associates who work within the establishment

  • Maintaina servant leader mentality to best serve staff.
  • Growand nurture positive and fun culture.
  • Takea lead role in the training, integrating, and establishment of performanceexpectations.
  • Providesoverall direction, coordination, and evaluation of restaurant personnel.
  • Plans,delegates, and directs all tasks and workload.
  • Carryout supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policiesand applicable laws.
  • Establish performance expectations,regularly appraise performance against expectations, and provide ongoingfeedback, reward, and redirection.
  • Whennecessary, address performance issues and complaints and devise a plan ofaction to resolve the issues.
  • Createa fun and inclusive work atmosphere for all people.
  • Participatein hotel Manager on Duty program.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelorsdegree with a strong culinary focus and restaurant management training required wine knowledge desirable.
  • Abilityto understand and positively impact P&L statements, cost of sales, foodcosts, inventory control, and safety performance necessary.
  • Capableof effectively managing both front and back of house operations; as a result,strong interpersonal and leadership skills are essential.
  • FoodManager Certification and Liquor License required or completion of thiscertificate within the first 30 days of employment.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this position is $79,500 - $100,450. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
