THE JOB:
As a Pastry Sous Chef, your work supports not only our guests experience but the entire property, crafting every baked good served across our outlets. With your passion for pastry, you will lead a team to own the experience and create WOW memories that our guests and employees will carry with them far and beyond their time with us!
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Assist Executive Chef and Pastry Chef by controlling food and labor cost, establishing goals and objectives that focus on profit, product, and people, as well as overseeing purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists, and inventory of all kitchen items.
- Conduct training for bakers and helpers on job responsibilities
- Maintain production knowledge and attention to detail with decoration and taste quality
- Ensure requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area
- Assist Pastry Chef, other Assistant Pastry Chefs, bakers, and helpers as needed in execution of production
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Is 21+ years of age
- Has a High School diploma or Equivalent
- 2+ years of related Bakery experience
