THE JOB:
Step into the excitement as a Luxor Mutuel Clerk and be at the center of the action! Help guests place wagers on thrilling events from around the world, all while providing top-notch service and upholding the highest standards of Luxors renowned hospitality.

THE STARTING RATE: $17

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Write, verify, and make payments on tickets for race and sports wagers in accordance with department policy and procedures and ensure compliance to applicable jurisdictional gaming statues and regulations

• Maintain a cash bank for his/her shift, responsible for accepting payment and making correct change when necessary

• Stock Race & Sports book Writer/Cashier's stations with adequate supplies; keep all stations neat and clean

• Make payments on winning tickets in an accurate and timely manner; verify tickets and payoffs

• Maintain and reconcile bank for assigned shift, following established cash-handling policies and procedures

• Explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures to guests

• Create and enter player tracking cards

• Ensure the protection of customers rewards and adherence to credit lines

• Notify management of escalated or prevalent guest issues/concerns and any apparent suspicious activity

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

• Has prior experience cash handling in a front facing, customer service role
