Compensation :
Pay Range: $16.50 - $26.80 / hour

Job Description:
To prepare food items for patients, children, visitors, and staff using specialized equipment. To communicate recipe and production issues to supervisors. May develop and implement USDA menus for children ages up to sixty (60) months.
1. Cooks food for patients, children, visitors, and/or staff. Handles food according to all applicable
guidelines during preparation and storage.
2. Maintains a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment.
3. Safeguards all equipment through proper operation, assembly, care and maintenance.
4. Follows established guidelines, policies and procedures of all regulatory agencies and the hospital,
child development center or department.
5. May Process cash transactions according to standard procedures including proper security
methods, verification of bank and drawer, and maintaining cash tolerance.
6. May monitor proper purchasing and usage of supplies in accordance to established procedures or
USDA guidelines.
7. Performs other duties as assigned
QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred. One (1) year of related experience required.
