Summary:
The Housekeeper at Colville Fuels LLC is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across resort guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities. Working as part of a team, the Housekeeper ensures that all cleaning tasks are performed to high standards, contributing to a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests. The Housekeeper follows daily cleaning schedules, ensures proper stock of supplies, and assists with special requests or needs from guests. Attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are key to success in this role.
Essential Functions:
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Clean and sanitize all assigned areas, including cabins, restrooms, shower rooms, and laundry facilities, in accordance with company policies and health regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as the lobby, lounge, corridors, and stairways, as well as exterior spaces to ensure they are presentable and free from trash.
Equipment and Supplies:
- Operate cleaning equipment, such as high-lift, pressure washers, and floor cleaners.
- Maintain and stock cleaning supplies, securely managing storeroom inventory and informing the supervisor of any needed items.
Customer Interaction:
- Provide professional customer service, assisting customers, and responding to inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Respect guest privacy and minimize disturbances during cleaning activities.
Safety and Reporting:
- Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and regulations, using personal protective equipment as required.
- Record and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns for prompt resolution.
Additional Duties:
- Perform other assigned duties and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of safety practices, including biohazard cleanup and operation of cleaning equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, maintenance or custodial roles preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience within a Tribal business or community-focused enterprise.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, lifting, and stooping frequently.
- Capacity to lift and move up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.
- Ability to frequently bend, squat, stoop, reach, climb, and/or crawl.
Work Environment:
- Work involves exposure to typical hospitality environments.
- Frequent exposure to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, electricity, and potential biohazard materials.
