Maintenance Engineer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will use your technical expertise to ensure equipment is production-ready and comply with safety standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Use appropriate technical data to isolate and repair electrical problems.
+ Convert amperes to watts and vice versa for both single and 3-phase electrical installations.
+ Determine the correct electrical testing equipment and interpret the readings to adjust, align, and repair electrical systems.
+ Interpret and comply with the National Electrical Code and other electrical safety-related requirements.
+ Identify malfunctions in industrial equipment, troubleshoot installation down to the component level, replace defective components, align, adjust, calibrate, and repair to restore production-ready status.
+ Read, evaluate, and interpret all system technical data to assist in the proper repair and alignment of assigned equipment systems.
+ Evaluate, overhaul, and repair defective components.
+ Use technical data to requisition or cross-reference mechanical components such as bearings, oil seals, sprockets, drive belts, etc., necessary to expedite component repair.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ 5+ years of basic math skills, including multiplication and division.
+ 3+ years of mechanical aptitude.
+ 3+ years of experience with electrical panels, preferred.
+ 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting electrical prints, drawings, and schematic diagrams.
+ Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, maintenance repair, and automotive repair.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Welding experience.
+ Mechanic background.
+ Automotive background.
+ PLC Programming and Troubleshooting.

**Work Environment**
Work is conducted in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, exposed to varying degrees of temperature controlled by internal systems. Occasional work outside in natural conditions. Shift options include Day Shift (4am-4pm) and Night Shift (4pm-4am) on a 2-2-3 schedule, with training provided on 1st shift (8am-4pm, Monday to Friday).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zanesville, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
