**Responsibilities**
**Position Summary:**
Prepares food for patients staff and visitors of the healthcare facility following safe cooking techniques.
+ Prepares food for multiple therapeutic diets and complies with state and federal laws and regulations related to food preparation in a healthcare environment.
+ Supports quality control measures such as recipe adherence and food quality consistency.
+ This position is represented by SEIU, Local 1107 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum:**
+ Two years Food Service experience.
+ High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Current (within the past 12 months) ServSafe Allergen and Food Handler Certifications. CT FOODHND; CT SERVSAFE
+ If not currently certified certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
