The Greater Susquehanna Valley YMCA is looking for a Food Service Assistant to help prepare and serve nutritious meals to children and families in our programs. If you enjoy working in a team-oriented environment and want to make a difference, we'd love to have you join our team!

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

Assist with meal prep and serving following safety and nutrition guidelines.

Keep kitchen and storage areas clean and organized.

Ensure food is properly stored and handled.

Work closely with the Food Service Coordinator, Child Care Director, and Program Director to meet program needs.

Help track food inventory and restock supplies.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

Food service experience (preferred).

ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Willingness to complete clearances and required child care trainings.

Ability to lift 20 pounds and perform kitchen-related tasks.

A team player with a positive attitude.
