Member Services Representative Receptionist Department:
Allendale Branch Work Arrangement: In- office We are guided by our IDEA

will begin on the fourteenth day of posting. Under the general
supervision of the Branch Manager, performs a variety of member service
duties to meet the highest level of quality service and sales objectives
and to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of member service in conformance
with established Credit Union policies, strategies and procedures. Key
Job Requirements: - Performs any functions, within scope of authority
and expertise to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness
to the members served by the Credit Union while performing all duties in
accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines and Credit
Union policies and procedures. - Serves as the welcoming liaison for the
branch in a receptionist capacity. Actively greets and directs members
to appropriate areas by demonstrating the utmost assistance in a
professional and polished manner. Provides telephone coverage for the
staff, directing calls appropriately and assisting with inquiries both
in person and via the telephone. Provides follow-up on member inquiries
to assist staff. - Provides courteous, friendly, professional, efficient
and effective member service. Assist members with a wide variety of
services including, but not limited to, ATM services, Nice Touch, direct
deposit, online banking, Debit Cards, check orders and statements. -
Maintains current knowledge of all Credit Union products. Actively cross
sells and provides product guidance to members. Refers members to
specialized departments as appropriate. Related Responsibilities: -
Assists members on any problems on existing accounts. Performs file
maintenance of member account information on computer and processes
other requests. - Prepares a variety of reports as needed, including but
not limited to member service activity, check orders, phone call logs,
ATM mailing logs for outgoing cards, central filing for completed
forms. - Accountable for securing workstation and confidential data.
Safeguards documents with member information at all times. Maintains
privacy of member account information. - Actively represents the Credit
Union in local civic, community and professional organizations. Promotes
the Credit Union wherever and whenever possible. The above is a
description of the ordinary duties of the position. It should be
expected that from time to time other duties both related and unrelated
to the above may be assigned and, therefore, required. Position
Requirements: - High School diploma or its equivalent. - Two years
experience in positive interactions with the public. - Must demonstrate
an upbeat, professional communication style, and quality customer/member
service with effective organizational and interpersonal skills. - Must
possess a basic knowledge of Credit Union products and services. - Able
to use various types of office equipment, including office software,
spread sheet applications and PC proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
