YOU MUST:
-Have at least two years of RECENT experience IN A RESTAURANT AS A COOK (does not include fast food).
-Have a good work record (references will be checked).
-Live within a reasonable distance from Monroe, NC
-Have reliable transportation to and from work.
-Demonstrate exceptional aptitude, appearance and desire.
-ServSafe certification is a big plus!
Schedule: Full-time; 35 - 40 hours per week. Wed., Thur., Fri., Sat., rotating days and evenings. Every other Sunday 10-3; occasional Tuesday 8-12.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
Handle food safely and adhere to ServSafe guidelines to ensure food safety.
Assist in meal preparation and plating, collaborating with team members to meet service demands.
Support catering and special event preparations as needed, utilizing culinary skills and knowledge.
