Overview
The Lead's primary function is to perform custodial maintenance on all facilities and to enforce all safety requirements among staff. This position will assist with creating and assigning work orders, managing the Crowd Comfort dashboard, communicating with vendors and customers, and reporting facility status to supervision
Responsibilities
- Creating and assigning work orders; providing quality control and safety over-watch; updating Crowd Comfort records and personnel records; communicating with vendors, customers, and administrative and supervisory personnel; acting as Building & Grounds Superintendent in his/her absence.
- Safely clean all facilities assigned using various techniques, tools, equipment, computers, and systems.
- Assist Building & Grounds Superintendent in requisitioning cleaning materials {when required) and maintaining inventory status.
- Assists in the management of events set up and custodial requirements of coordinated activities.
- Assists in the development and implementation of the custodial training program for staff.
- Coordinates training for new employees on boarding and orients new staff with branch procedures.
Position Type and Typical Hours of Work
- Exempt - Full-Time
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (must be available to work additional hours as needed)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a schedule requirement

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Four (4) years of experience
Licenses and Certifications

- A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hiring.

Basis of Rating
A recruitment consultant will evaluate all applications against the posted qualifications. The city may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
