Restaurant Beatrice is a contemporary Louisiana restaurant searching for a FT Line Cook or Salaried Sous Chef/Tournant Chef. Focused on authentic, chef-driven menu, and sustainability, we are willing to train the right individual for growth in the industry.
Working with local farmers to sourceanic produce and meats, we alsopost our kitchen scraps. If you are passionate about food sustainability, improving the local food system, we are the leaders in the area.
Our menu changes frequently and we make everything from scratch. You won't be making the same exact entree every day for every shift. The menu changes nearly weekly. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow and expand your skills or exercise skills that haven't been used in a while. The right individuals are afforded creativity, when appropriate, under the supervision of our Head Chef. We are open to someone who may or may not want a leadership position.
Hours depends on the position you want and are qualified for: Line Cook: 32-40 hours a week. Salaried position is around 50 hours a week. Salaried staff get two days off each week. We respect work-life balance. Pay ispetitive within the industry.

Our team is small. We support one another when needed. During certain times of the year, requests off will be available on a firste, first-serve basis. We are open for dinner service 6 nights and 2 brunches every week week
