Sous Chef Position

General Harvest Restaurants (Vendemmia, Autumn, Raccolto, GH Pasta & Pizza , East Anchor Seafood, Haerfest and Eldr).

We are cook-from-scratch kitchens showcasing hand-made pastas, sustainably sourced seafood, and seasonal vegetables u sourced from the bountiful Pacific Northwest paired. Along side our delicious food we will offer a seasonal cocktail program, and world class wine program. Our dining room and bar offers an inviting space for families and foodies alike.

We are looking to add a Sous Chef to our growing team. Staying true to who we are, we will be focusing on simple seafood, local vegetables, proteins and of course pasta dishes. The sous chef is trained to cook all stations and lead a small team.

Ideal applicants should have high volume fine dining experience, flexible schedule, team oriented mindset, and an upromising values on cooking standards.

Position Details:

- $56,000- $65,000 annually after tips (this is an elevated hourly position with great tip average)

- 5 Days per week

- This is a full time position and budgeted for overtime pay.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant standards

Manage high volume orders and ensure timely delivery of food

Maintain a clean andanized kitchen workspace

Follow all health and safety procedures and regulations

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen

Monitor inventory and place orders accordingly

Work with the Chef in creating a dynamic and fun work environment while producing high quality food

Requirements:

Positive attitude and have the ability to motivate others

Proven experience as a High Volume Cook in a scratch kitchen restaurant

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment

Ability to handle high volume orders while maintaining quality and consistency

Excellent munication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
