Hello!
Betty Restaurant & Bar is seeking a PT line cook to join our stellar team. Betty has been open since 2008 and we are known for being a neighborhood staple. We're an independently owned restaurant, serving a seasonally-driven menu, and solely dinner service. Most of our BOH team has been with us for years as we are a small but mighty crew.
We're looking for a professional line cook with 3+ years of experience, who can hold down any of our three stations: grill, pantry, and expo. At present, we are offering 2-3 days a week, with the potential for full time hours as we shift into fall. We expect cooks to have excellent standards of service, serious knife skills with their own knives, and be proficient in breaking down proteins. We value cooks whose culinary experience is matched with humor, desire to be part of a team, and an ability to problem solve when needed. Since we are an open kitchen with Chef's Counter seating, we require applicants to befortable with guest interaction as it is a regular part of the job. We offer $21.50 as the starting wage plus tips, which range from $10-$14 an hour, we also offer a healthcare stipend after 90 days employment. Other perks are we have a free parking lot for staff and serve family meal every night.
