THE JOB: Step into the excitement as a Luxor Mutuel Clerk and be at the center of the action! Help guests place wagers on thrilling events from around the world, all while providing top-notch service and upholding the highest standards of Luxor's renowned hospitality. THE STARTING RATE: $17 THE DAY-TO-DAY: Write, verify, and make payments on tickets for race and sports wagers in accordance with department policy and procedures and ensure compliance to applicable jurisdictional gaming statues and regulations Maintain a cash bank for his/her shift, responsible for accepting payment and making correct change when necessary Stock Race & Sports book Writer/Cashier's stations with adequate supplies; keep all stations neat and clean Make payments on winning tickets in an accurate and timely manner; verify tickets and payoffs Maintain and reconcile bank for assigned shift, following established cash-handling policies and procedures Explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures to guests Create and enter player tracking cards Ensure the protection of customer's rewards and adherence to credit lines Notify management of escalated or prevalent guest issues/concerns and any apparent suspicious activity THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Must be a minimum of 21 years of age High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Has prior experience cash handling in a front facing, customer service role THE PERKS & BENEFITS: Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more Free meals in our employee dining room Free parking on and off shift Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees) Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION: Are you ready to JOIN THE SHOW?
