Sincerely, Bagel is located in the Kerns neighborhood in Portland, OR. We are a small but busy bagel shop and produce our bagels in-house within our facility. We offer sourdough bagels, schmears, open face sandwiches, breakfast egg sandwiches and offer a full specialty coffee/tea menu. We are open every day except for Tuesday. Professionalmercial bakery/kitchen experience for at least 1 year is preferred. Professional references are a must. This will initially be a part time role but if you are the right fit, opportunities for more hours are possible in the future.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Baking and prepping bagels for morning store opening utilizingmercial oven and proofer
Properly maintain, clean and wash all used equipment and tools (open and close procedures)
Working within our proper safety standards
Consistent, punctual and reliable attendance
Maintaining our quality standards, controls and procedures
Attention to detail, willingness to learn, team player with helpful attitude and demeanor
Collaborate with management along with our team lead to ensure production goals are met
Productive and efficient during work hours and makes sure all tasks arepleted
Followpany policies and procedures
Light prep work and other bakery production work will also be required
Qualifications:
Current OR Food Handlers Card
1-yearmercial baking / kitchen experience
Stronganizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies
Have the ability to do a fast paced, physical job
Display a helpful attitude; with the ability to work well alone and as part of a team
Team player, strong work ethic, professional and mature attitude
Willingness to grow with the business
Training will be provided - must be able to follow the business' processes and procedures
