We re looking for a self-motivated, multi-tasking team player to join us at picerie; a charming caf serving brunch, lunch, and dinner in Austin s Rosedale neighborhood.

Bartender

Our beverage program highlights New Orleans classics, rotating seasonal house cocktails, an all-French wine list, and a selection of local craft beers. We re seeking a team-oriented individual who values an inclusive, supportive, and dynamic work environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2+ years experience in full-service bar or restaurant settings

Solid foundation in classic craft cocktails

Strong working knowledge of wine, particularly French varietals

Excellentmunication and active listening skills

Works collaboratively and constructively with teammates

Comfortable standing for extended periods (average bartending shifts are 6+ hours)

Demonstrates curiosity and a desire to continue learning

Contributes positively to team culture and morale

Conducts themselves with professionalism and integrity

Comfortable engaging with a diverse range of guests

Warm, weing presence with a genuine focus on hospitality

Prioritizes a safe and respectful working environment

Passionate about service-driven hospitality and creating a seamless, memorable guest experience

Proactive, with a willingness to step in and support the team wver needed

Able to work with focus, urgency, and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and wee guests warmly upon arrival

maintain an efficient flow of service to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience

Possess thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and featured items

Provide informed and thoughtful rmendations to enhance the guest experience

Regularly develop and prepare cocktail recipes

Execute all elements of house-made cocktails, including syrups, infusions, fresh juices, and otherponents

Deliver full-service hospitality to guests seated at the bar

Support floor service as needed, including running food and drinks, bussing tables, and hosting

Assist with inventory management and order receiving as needed

Maintain high standards of execution, safety, cleanliness, andanization at all times

Participate in daily and ongoing cleaning responsibilities to uphold a sanitary and weing environment
