The Salmonberry is located in Wheeler, Oregon on the Nehalem River waterfront

We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our back-of-house kitchen team. Whether you're an experienced line cook or just starting in the industry, we value people who take pride in their work, stay cool under pressure, and care about contributing to a team that runs a clean, efficient, and respectful kitchen.

The Salmonberry offers scratch-made food using local farm fresh produce and proteins, including Neo Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas, wood-fired vegetables, 'Detroit-Style' pizza, creative salads, local shellfish, and local beer, wine, cocktails, and more.

Have experience and passionate about the following:

Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies

Prepare food items according to recipes and prep lists

Cook menu items with precision and consistency

Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and correctly

Wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, and maintain a clean work area

Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Assist with receiving andanizing deliveries

Support teammates during busy shifts with a hands-on, no-task-too-small attitude

Quick, efficient, and tidy work style

Punctual with excellent time management

Must possess a positive attitude, be a team player, and befortable working in a fast-paced environment, while being down with tip pooling. Most importantly, we are looking for the right fit with the team, customers, and the localmunity.
