About the Role:

Sodexo is seeking an experienced and motivated Barista Lead to support day-to-day caf operations and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. In addition to all barista responsibilities, the Barista Lead plays a key role in overseeing daily shift execution, supporting new hire training, maintaining product quality, and assisting with inventory and staff coordination.

This role will start in August as a seasonal position, perfect for candidates who are looking for steady work during the academic year with breaks built in:

Fall Term: 4 months on, followed by a winter break

Spring Term: 4 months on, followed by a 3.5-month summer break

You must be available to work all home football games no exceptions.

Work Schedule & Shift Details:

30 35 hours/week with rotating opening and closing shifts

Shifts can start as early as 6:00 AM and end as late as 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all duties of a Barista, including drink preparation, customer service, and cleanliness

Lead daily shift operations in partnership with management

Provide consistent, high-quality beverages and food items with attention to detail

Accurately record sales and process electronic (cashless) payments

Respond to customer concerns with professionalism and solutions-oriented mindset

Ensure caf cleanliness,anization, and adnce to safety/sanitation standards

Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, andplete monthly inventory

Participate in new product (LTO) creation and promotions

Train and support new team members; help maintain a positive and productive team culture

May assist with catering, food prep, or other tasks as business needs arise

What You Bring:

A minimum of 1 year of barista or retail leadership experience

Strongmunication skills and ability to lead by example

Adaptable, team-focused mindset with a proactive work ethic

Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy, customer-facing environment

Texas Food Handlers Certification (required)

Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and all home football games
