We are seeking reliable and motivated COOK AND PREP COOKS to join our team. Must be passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food presentation is appealing, and contributing to a positive customer experience. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food safety are key. Available evenings as we are exclusively open for dinner service.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sauteing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
Requirements:
Minimum two years work experience as a cook or prep cook.
Sound knowledge of cooking methods and techniques.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume setting
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
Flexible availability. Must be available evenings and weekends
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
