Housekeeper 3 - Augusta

• Under broad supervision, performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation and cleanliness in facilities.
• Maintains supplies as needed.
• Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision. Serves as job expert or organization resource in assigned areas.
• May supervise and/or direct the work of others.
• Cleans and straightens assigned areas. Ensures laundry, housekeeping and floor equipment is in good working condition. Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed.
• Makes specialized clothing and other items (eg restraining clothing, helmets, surgical gowns).
• Mends and makes minor alterations to residents' clothing and other items Makes simple repairs to upholstery and mattresses.
• Observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse.
• Operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment. Plans, develops, schedules and implements laundry services

One (1) year of experience as a lead worker in a related area of assignment; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Housekeeper 2 (FES041) or position equivalent.
