What will you do?- Prepare and cook food items in the stationary food truck kitchen according to established recipes and specifications, both before and during service hours.
- Accurately measure and portion all food items, ensuring compliance with portion sizes, quality standards, and departmental policies and procedures.
- Set up, operate, and clean food truck kitchen equipment following proper procedures; maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized food truck workspace that is fully stocked throughout operations.
- Ensure all food is stored correctly, maintains proper temperatures, and meets freshness and quality standards throughout the shift.
- Greet guests at the food truck window, take and fulfill food orders promptly, and process payments accurately and courteously.
- Handle cash and digital transactions at the food truck.
- Perform end-of-day cleaning and sanitation of the food truck, including kitchen surfaces, equipment, and service areas, to meet health and safety standards.
- Operate a golf cart as necessary to support food truck logistics and supply needs.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum of 1 year of related cooking food service experience preferred
- Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively in a compact, shared space
- A current food safety certification is required or must be willing to obtain
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- The ability to use a mobile Wi-Fi POS system; training provided
- Must be able to work in small, confined spaces and perform duties in varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold
- Must be able to bend, sit and stand for a long period of time
