Spurwink is looking to hire a part-time Custodian to work at our Residential home in Westbrook. The Custodian is responsible for performing light maintenance and custodial duties. As they are in the company of clients of Spurwink during the course of their employment, the Custodian is expected to be a positive role model for the clients and to maintain appropriate attire.
DUTIES:
- Maintain grounds of the facility.
- Perform custodial work and light maintenance.
- Recommend work repairs to the Program Director.
- Coordinate work order activity with Facilities Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Educational Requirements: High school diploma or G.E.D. and maintain a current Maine driver's license and a clean driving record required.
Minimum Experience Requirements: Must have referenced ability to perform custodial and light maintenance functions. Must be able to perform custodial activities, which will include, at minimum: being able to go up and down stairs; bending and lifting; carrying objects, materials, and tools.
