We are seeking a Machinery Maintenance Professional to join us in our Mill in Graham. The environment is fast-paced, and you’ll be working with a team of dedicated knitting professionals to help you take your textile career to the next level!
If it breaks, leaks, or squeaks, we fix it! As part of the maintenance department, you will repair breakdowns on knitting machines and warping equipment, and fulfill all building and facility maintenance needs.

REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to weld/fabricate.
- Ability to identify and assist with repairs on let-off boxes.
- Ability to identify and assist with repairs on take-up boxes.
- Ability to identify and assist with repairs on all upper and lower take-up units.
- Ability to assist with moving and installing old and new machinery.
- Ability to identify and assist with repairs on all building/facility maintenance issues.
- Able to do maintenance/safety checks on fire pump.
- Ability to operate a forklift (certified)
- Able to overcome and complete numerous tasks simultaneously.
- Maintain company safety programs and procedures.
- Must be able to stand/walk on their feet 8 hours a day.
- Able to communicate with co-workers while demonstrating a positive attitude.
- Able to pass pre-employment substance screening and background check.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be on their feet for eight hours a day, with the ability to push, pull, bend and lift heavy objects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The temperature is thermostat regulated in the building, but the employee is occasionally exposed to the outside weather conditions. The noise level in the knitting rooms exceeds OSHA’s Action Level; therefore, earplugs are required. The employee is required to wear steel-toed boots because of the heavy equipment they work with.
